Often seen on woodland edges, this is a great plant for the edges of meadows or as a transition out from underneath trees. It’s long bloom time gives this plant a long season appeal, with snowy clusters of white flowers. This species can seed itself around, as well as spread by rhizomes, making it a good competitor in a woodland edge setting. Please note that this plant is poisonous to digest and should not be planted where cows or goats graze to prevent milk sickness.
